Xbox can't connect to the Wi-Fi

Hello everyone. We just bought a new router (DIR-882) and our Xbox One (day one edition) can't seem to connect to the wifi. I tried with everything (MAC filtering, changing the channel width,etc.) Every other device works fine excepted for the Xbox. Any
solution ?

I can't connect my console to wi-fi

I'm trying to connect my XBox to my wi-fi but my console can't "see" my wi-fi i'm trying every option but it's not working.

 

Do I need a router to connect to my internet ?

Hey, I have a modem that is Wi-Fi and I can't connect to my internet, Will buying a router help ?

BTW: My Xbox is Wi-Fi built-in.

the Xbox. Sounds like the console is not receiving any internet connection.

Are you connecting wireless or ethernet?

I recommend the following troubleshooting guide:

• How to restart or power cycle your Xbox One console (Disconnect and reconnect your console's power cable)

• I need help with my Xbox One network connection
• I get an error message when I run the ‘Test multiplayer connection’ on Xbox One

Try these out and let us know the results.

 

Tried everything and it's not working. The console sees the wifi and tries to connect to it but it always fail saying that it cannot connect to that wifi. MAC filtering isn't doing anything and neither is IPV6.

Tried everything and it's not working

 

Im having this same issue and ive tried everything as well except it connects me to the internet then disconnects and says cant find ip address or dns then it logs me out

 

Delete the mac address and power reset the console...

 

Tried it also did not work !

 

The best option for You may be using a Wired Connection

 

It's sadly not possible from our current set up!

We understand that the console is unable to connect to the home network, even with other devices connecting without issue.

Our suggestion here, perform a Soft Factory Reset by selecting the following:

Reset and keep my games & apps. You should use this option as your primary choice when troubleshooting. It will reset the OS and delete all potentially corrupted data without deleting your games or
apps. This will save you from downloading or reinstalling the large game files.

This step will do the following:

1. Remove profiles (Keep all information needed for signing into any/all accounts)
2. Redo the network connection, so it is best to have a backup connection, i.e. ethernet cord, hotspot connection

Try this out for us and let us know how this goes!
