Xbox cannot load games or apps and wont reset

    Xbox cannot load games or apps and wont reset


    My son's xbox one S started misbehaving. Not sure when it started, but it may have been after the hard drive filled up and some games were deleted. What started happening is that both the apps and the games became very slow in terms of loading and there
    seemed to be lag. It was also crashing / freezing and one of the games save files was corrupted. I was constantly doing hard starts to get it to work. This became worse to the point that nothing would load - no games, no youtube, nothing. 0x8027025a error
    code. All the settings seem fine, as is the network. Xbox live seems to be working, multiplayer working, NAT is open. Can't see anything wrong.

    In desperation I tried a console system reset, keeping the games, but that did nothing. It did go through. Had to reenter account details and everything, but the problems persisted.

    I then did an offline usb system reset, but again that did nothing. I thought that would take it back to factory level, but on the dashboard, all the games and apps and accounts appear to be there still. Very confused. If I try to load anything I get 0x80070057
    error code.

    Started picking up e101 and e100 error messages (e101 90060005 8007003, e100 0000006 80070079) during the resets. But if I repeat the process, then they don't necessarily appear. Not consistent. Don't know what to make of that. Since there is no real explanation
    of what these codes mean, it might as well be Beyonce's telephone number.

    Going to do the straight factory reset, but I don't have much hope. None of the usual fixes are working.

    Perhaps you can change that.

    Not able to connect to internet

    I cannot login to the Solitaire World Events frequently. It always starts at 7:00am CST and often shows "Internet Connection Required" but obviously I am connected. I have tried resetting the app in the advnaced settings. My gamertag is logged in but the
    "Word Events" wont load.

    I've done the reset and it did not fix I cannot use report a problem as it refuses to load anything on the xbox at the min I can go through menu and setting but cannot open any game or apps at all so reporting at the min will not work thanks tho

    i think the e3 stream was too much for the garbage xbox one servers to handle obviously, games also cannot be downloaded and ea access wont load

    yes three or 4 times. Sometimes a game wont load. Other times apps won't load. So on and so on..

    I hope this helps. Please try to reset your console but wont remove your games and game saves. To do it, go to Setting-System-Console Info-Reset-Reset and keep games and apps.

    If the steps wont work, contact XBOX support to check the status of your Xbox game pass membership.
