Xbox came with broken controller

Literally two brand new controllers both came out of the box broken. It’s obscene.

Within 30 days, they'll refer you to the store. Because controller replacements are an exchange. You have to send in the broken one first.

They'll cover up to 45 days on most accessories. Before the 15 or 30 days, though, its just faster to take it back.

When you get your new console, register it at myservice.xbox.com - there's information about accessories and exchanges.

Under 30 days, your best bet is to take it to the store.

Hardware can only facilitate the orders, they can't change the process.

Why don't you take it back to the store you bought it at and get a replacement? You should have at least 30 days to exchange it.

for an issue like this, since it was already send in to be repaired etc. I advise to contact Xbox Support to see what the best steps are to have this issue sorted properly.
