    I use a xbox controller with windows and I would like my xbox button on the controller to go back to only turning my controller on. I don't want it to access my music and I don't want it to pull me out of the game I'm playing. Please, tell me there's a way
    to turn this unwanted functionality off.

    Unfortunately, this is not possible.

    Only the older white versions of the console will have the ability to avoid the touch face power button.

    i would like to see some way to disable the touch buttons on the frount of the xbox console. and just turn on/off and open disc tray with xbox controller. childen like the sound it makes every thousand times they press the buttons.

    Reposition the console so they can't reach it? Explain to your children that the console is not a "toy" ? Put the console on a power strip that allows for the complete removal of power when turned off (Belkin

    Tape doesn't work. I've tried everything from masking tape to 3M super 88 electrical tape. The buttons are so sensitive that even with a piece of thick paper between your finger and the button they still work.

    You cant disable the buttion but what you can do is put a piece of tape over the power buttion and the disk eject button so they cant touch it but you can still use it with the controller

    i have the same problem but the manual paper clip eject doesn't work or maybe i'm not doing it right. is there a video showing the manual eject working somewhere?
