Xbox button on remote does not take me to settings..

If you've done hard resets and the guide still won't come up, then I would try a factory reset. As you can't get into the Settings menu to do it, you'll have to do it like this: -

1. Turn the console off. Pull the power cord out for a minute, then plug it back in.

2. Hold the bind and eject buttons in on the console. While continuing to hold them in, tap the power button to turn the console on.

3. After a few seconds you should hear 2 lots of the power up sounds, rather than the normal 1. Once you've heard the second lot of power up sounds, you can let go of the bind/eject buttons.

4. The console will boot up into troubleshooter mode, where one of the options is to reset the console.

Does it say that it is turned on if you press the settings button on your tv remote to access the Game mode settings?

Hi, I'm no expert with projectors, I did take a look for the remote codes for that projector so you could manually enter the remote code on the Xbox but didn't have much luck, however if you go into
settings-display-messages on the projector and turn messages off does that then stop that second power button request message to power off the projector and then allow the Xbox to power the projector off ?

The A/V Cable Set-up does not matter what I would do is sync it with you Xbox 360 console first, and when using it point it directly at the Xbox 360 console as it's infra-red is not as good as the Xbox 360 game controllers.

To sync the remote press the sync button on the Xbox 360 console, then press the Xbox button on the media remote.

The menu button on the xbox one media remote does not work in the blu ray app. It will not pull up the blu ray dvd menu. The menu button on the gaming remote will pull up the blu ray menu. Can you notify me when this is resolved. The menu button does work
every where else except in the blu ray app.
