Xbox broken or is there a fix?

Hi everyone, so recently I left college for break and came back home with my Xbox. I just hooked everything up and it started being weird and glitchy on me. I can click on things but it'll give me a gray screen and then ask me to hard reset my Xbox (which
I have done at least 5 times now). I've talked with two support people on Xbox, one who says just to keep trying and that the problem seems to be happening because I cannot connect to the internet (I'm hardwired in the back though). The other person proceeded
to tell me to try to send it in and have Xbox repair it (which can be around 115 dollars). Does anyone have any advice for me or is it time to invest in a new Xbox one? Also, I was transporting the Xbox in my bag, so there's a small chance it may have had
something break while I was transporting it, but im very careful. It was working fine the night before.

Hello, some things are broken in my MS Account!

Hello Microsoft Support User,

With my Account "Thorschussel" on XBox Live & MyVIP Program, and "Jan-Albert" on Bing, there is much broken.

Hyperlinks don't react, or not like they should. I think there is a Criminal Hacker with Bad Intensions over.

The Bing Site is something frozen in the Settings, i can't change or delete things that i don't created! (Hacker! or someone like that)

The XBox Sites are broken with my Account Picture. I think there is something broken with the browser cookie info.

My power supply is blinking orange and my console won't turn on.

I've unplugged everything and then plugged it in again. I have also switched outlits multiple times. Is there any way to get my console to work without having to get repairs or call someone to look at it? And if there isn't a way, is my xbox broken or is
the power supply broken? Thank you for your time.

 

this is also an Xbox One which I bought in the summer of 2014 which is out of warranty, never commented that, sorry!

 

I've also heard that your Xbox could get screwy if you plugged it into a power strip, is that true or no?

You're correct that power strips can cause issues, that was actually going to be my first suggestion. Power strips can sometimes provide the incorrect amount of power to the Xbox One power strip and cause performance issues. Have you tried plugging directly
into a wall outlet to see if there's any change?

 

Hey, yes I have. I believe it could have something to do with the new update for the beta testing of the new Xbox possibly. Someone else messaged me saying they have the same problem as me and asked if I was also using the new beta too.
