    Xbox black screen and controller won't connect


    After trying to turn on my xb1S, my TV continued to show a no signal message, so i assumed I became worried it was the hdmi port that was broken, however, after waiting for a bit the no signal message disappeared leaving me with just a black screen, and now my controller refuses to connect to it as well.

    I'm worried this may be related to another issue the console has been showing, where after around a week of working fine, i'm unable to get past the profile select screen, and have to factory reset (keeping instaleed games) to actually get it to work, however i haven't had to do this for a couple weeks now.

    Can anyone tell me what might be wrong with it, and if possible a solution to get it working?

    mmmmmm, it won't even let me connect a controller. The Xbox controller gives the signal until I press the sync button on the xbox, at this point they both stop and the controller doesn't get connected. Before when I did have a controller, it wouldn't let
    me leave the error screen.

    The screen is blank/black when I turn on the console, so I cant really see anything. And the controller doesn't connect to the console, prabably because the display settings are wrong. And everything seems fine with the A/V cable (the screen does work and
