    Uninstalling Gears 5 does not remove the data from the drive. I am stuck with a 66gb game and unable to reclaim space.

    The game is removed from the Xbox app UI but the data still resides in C:\Program Files\WindowsApps\Microsoft.HalifaxBaseGame_1.1.67.0_x64__8wekyb3d8bbwe\

    Clicking install in the Xbox app quickly "reinstalls" the game. No new data is downloaded. This is a serious bug.

    No error codes ever appear

    HOW TO UNINSTALL THE GAME (dont installed in the background😢 )

    If none of the suggestions work, then try uninstalling the Xbox (beta) app, then uninstall Gears 5. After that reinstall Xbox (beta) app. That should hopefully fix the issue.

    Just FYI,

    Updated to the latest W10 build last night, 14291 and the stuck in stopping state issue reappeared again.

    Killed the service task (was then in a stopped state), uninstalled the xbox beta app, then reinstalled it again and tested several times. The issue has once again gone away.

    So basically uninstalled steam and reinstalled it. Then reinstalled Gears 5. Xbox game bar doesnt work. Neither does the xbox app (beta) download. Signed in on a microsoft online page have xbox console companion Open and still nothing.

    Best experience of my life.

    GOW4 Beta Code Received but after installation, it tells me that its now closed and come back in August
