Xbox beta update - windows update lags in games problem

sorry to hear.

As I understand you, all current windows updates are installed!? Since then you have while playing online network delays!?

If so, use taskmanager (ALT+Ctrl+ENTF) to check who steals your network resources. Finish them before you play.

You can also set your connection on Windows as "clocked" (do not know the exact englisch word), which reduces background data.

Definitely finish all programs in the background that update regularly!

I updated the Xbox App Beta to version 22.23.11006.00000, and it seemed to fix the problem with the lag. There is still stuttering problems though. Some games stutter every 5-10 minutes, and other games stutter every 30 seconds.

You will need to update Windows to 1903 in order to download the Xbox (beta) app game launcher and then you will be able to download games available in Xbox Game Pass Ultimate. If the update is not being offered in your Windows update settings, try running
the Xbox (beta) app installer and it should also walk you through updating Windows.

If you still can't update Windows to download the app, then try using the Update Assistant: https://www.microsoft.com/software-download/windows10

I have the latest updates, Windows Updates and Xbox Beta app, and the same problem, some games require admin approve to get installed, I don't know what to do, I have trying everything, nothing works, i guess must be a critical problem in the windows store,
please someone from help center!

I had the same problem, download the latest version of windows 10 updated 10/5/2020.then reinstall xbox games pass pc ( beta)

then delete gears 5 and then try to download again using games pass beta . It should now reinstall the upgraded version of gears 5

do not reinstall or do a clean version of windows 10 . Its microsofts not doing enough to keep you informed.

It tells you on the game on the bottom right you need the updated windows 10 to run the game
