    I'm attempting to download some games overnight for the new XGP on my PC and it seems if my computer reboots i lose all progress on the download.

    This is a huge problem for me when i'm downloading Gears of War 4 which is like 120+GB and i have to start the whole thing over.

    Before i went to bed last night i queued up downloads of Metro Exodus and Tomb Raider, and when i got home from work today I had NO progress. Just a button saying "Install". It seems i have to sit and watch this download... what a pain!

    Steam is able to persist the download between reboots until you clear the data manually. Something like that needs to be implemented when we're dealing with large games like this.

    After some digging, it turns out, i still HAVE THE DOWNLOADED FILES! I have 21GB of Tomb Raider Downloaded in my WindowsApps folder, WHY IS IT DOWNLOADING AGAIN!?!?

    Could be an issue with your PC possibly going into sleep mode and not downloading anything, which could be sorted in the settings of your PC.

    If not it could be a problem with the settings relating to the microsoft store on your PC

    Im also having exactly the same issues, had about 50GB of gears 5 downloaded and after a reboot its now showing 0gb and i cannot see where the previous install is. I know this is a beta app but this is terrible functionality. Surely any installer should
    have the basic function of saving progress of downloads!!

    Gears 5 refuses to allow me to install it on my second drive

    Hi had same problem Unstall Gears 5 placeholder the 100 meg file completely, Then Reboot the PC and install again from the Xbox Beta App this should allow you to select D:
