Xbox (BETA) Installer crashes on launch

I am trying to install the app necessary for Xbox Game Pass on PC and attempted to follow the instructions found on https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-game-pass/pc-games

After downloading the XboxInstaller.exe file I try to launch it, the window appears with "Xbox (BETA) Installer" at the top and then it immediately stops responding. My Windows is completely up to date and for the life of me I can't find the issue as to
why the installer just immediately crashes. Any help offered would be greatly appreciated!

Have you found solution yet, I got the same issue.

It is an outage right now. You can follow it here and press notify me when the problem is solved. Then try again. Have you tried restarting your PC?

You don't actually need the app, you can still find all the games on game pass using the Microsoft Store app on Windows 10. If you want the app, try installing from the Microsoft Store instead. Just search for the app, and install it.

I can't even make it to the friends list...

My Xbox app, Xbox beta, and Smart Glass apps are crashing immediately upon launch, I see the green loading screen for a fraction of a second then crash. Very frustrating.

Sorry to hear you are having this issue. It would be a great help if you could reproduce this again using the Xbox app beta then re-launch the beta app after the crash and select the "Feedback-->Report a problem" option. This may help us better understand
what is causing the crash. Thank you!
