    Xbox Beta Gamepass game downloads stopping / pausing


    When I try and download a game via the Xbox beta for PC i keep getting error code 0x800704C6. It happened for games from game pass I wanted to try and also kept happening on a game I already own (state of decay 2). Every time it gets the error, I have
    to manually queue it up again, and then it stops a few seconds later.

    I've tried:

    • Updating windows
    • deleting and reinstalling Xbox beta
    • downloading games via the Microsoft Game Store app instead
    • deleting and reinstalling the Microsoft game store and Xbox beta app via power shell
    • performing a clean boot
    • checking for router firmware upgrade (does automatically, google mesh)
    • Resetting / repairing the apps from settings
    • manually restarting associated services

    Honestly at this point it may just be in my best interest to cancel game pass.

    I'll be cancelling my gamepass for this reason. Tried all the troubleshooting suggested in a myriad of threads where people have reported the same problem. Only downloads 1% of any game and then stops, despite having successfully downloaded games in the
    past.
