    Hi!

    I'm playing 5 Xbox Game Pass games using the Xbox Beta app for installing and launching. 2 games are basically unplayable due to

    loading forever and/or crashing on load and freezing during gameplay:

    1. Gears 4

    2. Final Fantasy XV

    Games that don't have these problems are:

    1. Frostpunk

    2. Gears 5

    3. Hollow Knight (I got an error message, if i click it off the game simply closes, if I don't its playable)

    Regarding the freezes:

    For Gears 4 the loading and switching in menus took forever. Playing was nigh impossible since gameplay froze every 5 seconds. I reinstalled the game as well as Xbox beta once each and turned of Comodo Firewall, no improvements.

    Final Fantasy also loads forever, sometimes crashes while loading, and keeps freezing even when i just walk around, about every 15 to 20 seconds, and saves get deleted.

    I'm starting to think that its some kind of server connection problem in both cases.

    My setup:

    Win10 Pro 64

    nvidia 1070 Ti

    i7 4820k

    16GB RAM

    running on SSDs

    All drivers up to date.

    machine not working after full factory reset

    I factory reset the machine. Loaded Fifa19 and that's it. Game loaded once, froze and not able to load again. Machine constantly freezing. I get error message 'game took too long to load' before it crashes.

    Hi Fiddle,

    Thanks for coming to the forums. We understand having issue with a couple games. We recommend try uninstall and reinstall the games. There could be corrupt files causing some issues.

    I'm having the same issue and have tried reinstalling all the problematic games with no luck. I've tried restarting all the Xbox-related services and reinstalling the Xbox PC app itself. Do you have any other suggestions?
