    Xbox (Beta) for Windows 10 app keeps crashing.


    Really bizarre issue as I can get the Xbox app working on a laptop and it works for all of my friends but I can't figure out what has happened to the app on my desktop.

    Xbox (Beta) App version: 2008.1001.11.0
    Windows 10 Pro version: 2004
    PC: i7 9700k, 16GB RAM and RTX2080

    The issue is if I start up the application it loads up just fine. I can browse the social tab just fine as well as the settings but as soon as I go to go on either the 'Store' or 'Game Pass' tabs the app starts to close itself instantly. Sometimes I can click on a game and see the game's store page for a few seconds other times i just need to hover over the image and the app crashes.

    It looks like the app minimises to the hidden icons tray but it then starts over again.

    I've tried to reset and repair the app several times. Tried uninstalling and installing the app again. Reset the Windows Store cache. Signed in and out of the App. Restarted my PC after every change. Set services to be automatic start when Windows boots. Fully updated Windows. Fully updated drivers.

    I can still download and play games if I go through the Microsoft store but it would be nice if I was able to do it all within the Xbox App as it had a nice GUI.

    Any help will be much appreciated,

    Can't access messages

    I have the same problem. Even deleting ALL messages using Smartglass Beta did not help - Xbox App keeps crashing as soon as I go to the messages section. On Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile.

    Same problem here, Xbox app loads but crashes while logging in with no error message. And exactly same behaviour in beta app. Today I've seen a new update in Store but still not working. I've uninstalled Xbox app with PowerShell and reinstalled again via
    Store, but Xbox app keeps crashing. Notice this is happening in a tablet-PC with Intel Atom x5-Z8500, but the app works OK for me with my other computers I have Windows 10 installed.
