Xbox(beta) folder deleted

Hi guys,

two days back the installation folder of Xbox(beta) was deleted,without me doing anything or changing any options through the program menu,while i was browsing through the internet.I wasnt even using the program or playing a game.

A free space up to 9gbs was available at my primary hard disk,where i installed the program for the first time.

Now i can play the games,i allready had installed through the created icons but every time i try to open the application i get this message.

" crogram files\\windowsapps\\microsoft gaming app_1909.1001.12.0_x64_8wekyb3d8bbwe...\xboxexe

no licenses were found for this application" in my own language.

I can login to my account through Xbox.com but i cannot install the application.

Every time i try it stays stuck at "making things awesome" for an infinite time without anything being installed.

So, I can play the games but I cant use the program which isnt that nice..

I couldnt find anything comparable in the forum so I 'm not sure what to do.

Any suggestions?

Yes i checked out but Windows are up to date,so it must be something else.

I also tried to reset the Windows Store through wsreset.exe because it shows XboxBeta installed, and the Windows PowerShell solution but nothing worked.

So,it seems that i have the program installed but cant open it for further use,the program folder deleted but the games i downloaded r playing normally.

Is there a way to uninstall whatever is left and clean the registry and use again the installer or is there another way I m missing?

You checked if you don't have any application blocking programs, try setting the high-performance program on the video card and see if it starts

Have you checked for any new windows 10 updates sometimes it's required to have your pc up to date or some apps won't work properly

Thank you for posting on the Xbox forums. I'd be happy to help.

It seems like the app was possibly not uninstalled or deleted properly from your PC and now it freezes when trying to re-install. Do you see the app still in your Task manager? Click where it says more details and go through each tab
and locate the Xbox game pass beta app. Right click and then select Open file location, which should open the folder with any files you would still need to delete.

Open run window (Windowskey + R) - Type in: "%appdata%" - Delete the Xbox app (beta) for the PC Game Pass folder in the roaming folder (You should be in it already). Go back one folder, then you should end up in Appdata - Go to
"Local" - Delete the beta Xbox app folder in there too. You can also get to the local folder by typing %localappdata% in the run window. Once you delete the folders for the app that is having issues, try re-installing again from this website https://www.xbox.com/xbox-game-pass/pc-games.
