    Hi guys, been receiving an 0x8015DC12 error on the Xbox (beta) app for a week. We're a game dev and use the app as it's the only way to post links to our Xbox Game Hub for each title- can't currently access at all. Have tried multiple accounts and 2 fresh
    installs. Account management team advised to report here.

    On an i7 Alienware laptop with 32gig Ram & GTX 1070.

    Hi guys, been receiving an 0x8015DC12 error on the Xbox (beta) app for a week. We're a game dev and use the app as it's the only way to post links to our Xbox Game Hub for each title- can't currently access at all. Have tried multiple
    accounts and 2 fresh installs. Account management team advised to report here.

    Unable to Sign in to Xbox from Microsoft Bingo

    Using Windows 10, & can sign in from all other games. Get error code 0x8015DC12.

    The said error code occurs if there's an issue with signing in to your account on the Xbox app. It is possible that there's something wrong with the Xbox app on your computer that's why it doesn't let you sign in. When you said "fresh installs", are you
    referring to reinstalling the Xbox app twice?

    In the meantime, let's try to troubleshoot this issue by performing the following solutions below:

    Solution 1: Perform a clean boot on your computer to eliminate software conflicts. You may refer to this

    for the steps.

    Solution 2: Remove the account in your computer.

    1. Press the Windows key, and then go to Settings.
    2. Go to Accounts.
    3. Select Email & app accounts
    4. Select the account, and then click Remove.
    5. Restart the computer.

    Solution 3: Reset the Xbox app.

    1. Press the Windows key, and then go to Settings.
    2. Click System.
    3. Go to Apps & features tab.
    4. Locate and select the Xbox app.
    5. Click Advanced options.
    6. Click Reset.

    Hi, thanks for coming back to me. I have carried out all three of your proposed solutions to no avail I'm afraid. My colleague has tried installing is on his PC and is not receiving the same error (using the same dev accounts).

    Software conflicts- Already have admin so an easy one. Excluded conflicts all non-microsoft services from msconfig.

    Sol 2- removed ALL MS accounts before trying again

    Sol 3- done with both Beta and regular Xbox apps to be sure.

    Still the same 8015DC12. FYI, the Xbox apps are the only MS login issue I'm currently experiencing (same error on both XB app and XB (Beta).

    Okay, issue solved! Turns out (unbeknownst to me) someone had used my laptop and switched sandbox environment without alerting me!

    Okay, issue solved! Turns out (unbeknownst to me) someone had used my laptop and switched sandbox environment without alerting me!
