Xbox Beta App slow dowload speeds and constant errors

Hi!

I have started a subscription plan for Xbox Game Pass PC yesterday. I tried to instal multiple games with the new App and the Microsoft Store as well but the download is painfully slow and errors out every 1-2% dowloading. Its frustrating and a joke. I have
had a subscription months ago and it worked fine. Now its slow and unreliable.

I have tried all possible fixes (aroun 8 of them) on the forums and non of them worked:

Delivery Optimization fix

Background download percentage fix

WSRESET fix

GPO fixes

Windows App Troubleshooter

etc, anything I could find on Reddit and Microsoft Forums

The only thing wich made a difference and somewhat worked is a VPN service. I connected to a VPN server in Germany and the download started working immidietly.

I'm getting around 3-12 MB/s but compared to my ISPs 50MB/s download speed its still pretty damn bad.

Please fix this fast because all my friends using the same ISP are getting this problem.

I'm a UPC user in Hungary.

Have you tried resetting your network equipment by unplugging your modem/router and trying again. It seems if you are all using the same ISP and have the same issue it could be an issue with the ISP

Like i said i tried everything. But theres an update, after i downloaded the first game with vpn the speed is aroun 20-30MB/s now without the vpn. So it seems to be working.

Thank you, now for the painfully slow download process, I know I and the rest of the world are dowloading it. Makes me wonder why I pay for 125mb dowload speeds, lol

Hi,

TalkTalk had very similar issues around 2 months ago, maybe their problem has returned. Have you tried wired as a test to see if its just wireless that is a problem
