    Xbox beta app sign in issues


    Hello all!

    I saw the other day that you can now do a custom image as your GT profile picture. So downloaded the Xbox beta app to my home pc and keep getting an 0xbba error when trying to sign in, tried a few things to try and log in such as creating a test profile
    and signing out but still get the error. Can put the app onto my wife's laptop and works fine and lets me sign in fine.

    Anyone else having a similar issue?

    It seems your Xbox beta app's components is corrupted. We will need additional information to isolate this issue. Please provide us additional information by answering the following questions below:

    1. Have you tried to login your account into the full version of Xbox app?

    2. Are you using a Windows insider program?

    Sorry to hear it. I would recommend opening the Xbox Console Companion on your PC and ensure that you're signed in as the proper account. If you are not then please sign out then delete the beta app. Sign your gamertag into the console companion then
    redownload the beta app. This should solve the issue.

    Hey there!

    It sounds like you've exhausted most good troubleshooting steps, and that it is indeed an issue with the app. I haven't heard of issue like this on the Android version of the app.

    I know you can sign up for the beta app on Android... I know you'd just like it to work, so have you considered looking into the iOS XBox (beta) app may fix your issue?

    Is Xbox Live required to connect via the Win10 App?

    Hi Old Man Willow, yes Xbox Live is required for the Xbox App requires a user to sign in to an account. Please try using Xbox App Beta to see if your are experiencing the same issue. If the issue continues please use the "report a problem" by clicking
    the happy face on left NAV bar in the beta version of the app. In the mean time I will call this out in our reports to the developers requesting an investigation.

    To download the beta version go to the store on your PC and search for "Xbox App Beta".

    Cannot Sign in to the app

    Hi Exiled, Please try the following tips recommend by the developers to see if it may help with your issue:

    Have trouble signing into the Xbox app?

    Also, If you haven't already try using the Xbox App Beta to see if the same issue occurs. It typically runs the latest version of the app. You can DL the beta by going to the store on your PC and search for "Xbox App Beta".
