Xbox Beta App Party Chat

Hello! I'm trying to start up a party, but I can't seem to find the button within the app so far. I can join other parties fine if I right click on my friends in the list, but starting my own just doesn't seem to be an option anywhere. Voice chat has
been a substitute for me as of right now.

I believe that the party chat in the Xbox app is still in beta, so issues are to be expected.

hey how did you use your mic in xbox app party chat in the first place? i launched "start a party (beta)" and it shows my mic, but i can't talk or hear anyone in the party chat. and my mic is the default recording device

Update on this, the Xbox Beta app is now working. But I get the exact same issue when I join parties and I still get the same link to fix the problem. So party chat via Xbox App is still not working for me at all.

I am having the same exact issue. I can hear in game chat, but no one can hear me. MS, please prioritize this for fix! It had worked previously, but it has not worked worked now for a long time. As a workaround, I hear that you can install the xbox beta
app alongside the regular xbox app and use the in app party chat with one app and stream with the other, but this will only work with party chat, not in game....

Same problem here. I've tried my Logitech wireless headset as well as a USB headset. Both work fine in Windows apps, but no mic on Xbox Streaming for game chat, voice messages, or parties. It does seem to work in the Xbox app Parties though.

I have the beta app v11.11.3013.
