Discus and support Xbox (Beta) App on PC Can't Start a Party in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; Maybe I just don't know how or it's the fact I only have a Live account without Gold.     Xbox (Beta) App on PC Can't Start a Party


    Maybe I just don't know how or it's the fact I only have a Live account without Gold. But I can't send Party chat invites on the Xbox (Beta) app or through the Game Bar. But I can join Parties.

    Onpy option it gives me when i right-click on a friend is Start a Chat. Now if that's Party chat, and not just the private chat, I'll have been a really dummy.

    Is there a setting to *not* use the PC mic/headphones for party chat?

    hey how did you use your mic in xbox app party chat in the first place? i launched "start a party (beta)" and it shows my mic, but i can't talk or hear anyone in the party chat. and my mic is the default recording device

    I had this issue as well and it seems to be a beta problem. What worked for me was starting the party app before launching the Destiny beta, get everybody in the unsnap the party app and then launching the beta. Hopefully this will work for you too.

    when i join party on game bar it crashs

    Do the Xbox Beta or the Xbox Console Companion apps crash if you try to use those to join/start parties as well, or is it purely contained to Xbox Game Bar?
