    Xbox Beta App not working, even after update and attempted reinstall.


    Attempted to use the Xbox Beta app on my PC. After attempting to update the app, which was roughly 50 mb, it took over 5 hours. Upon completion of the update I attempted to download The Outer Worlds for the 8th time to no avail. I uninstalled the program and attempted to reinstall but after I clicked the install button the window for the installer froze on that screen. I want to try out the service whenever it gets out of Beta, or rather as soon as possible but I don't know what else to do to get it to work.

    HOW TO UNINSTALL THE GAME (dont installed in the background😢 )

    If none of the suggestions work, then try uninstalling the Xbox (beta) app, then uninstall Gears 5. After that reinstall Xbox (beta) app. That should hopefully fix the issue.

    I was able to get it to work after doing several things. I did windows updates, installed the companion app and uninstalled and reinstalled the Xbox Beta App. I am not sure what made it work but I am able to log in and download/play games now.

    Can someone help me, Im stuck in an installation hell where i cant Delete or finish downloading this game...

    After carefully following these steps exactly.... everything got worse. After the restart i attempted to redownload the app, however when attempting to even just open the Xbox App, it crashes/closes before even finishing start up...

    To add onto this, I have also just attempted using the reset buttons for "repair" and "reset".. did not help, reinstalling the app only leads to more instant crashes.

    XBox One App Does not open

    I used the version that was on the computer after the Nov update of Windows 10. I checked for additional updates but none were found. I then removed the Xbox One app and downloaded and installed the beta app. It had the same problem, so I uninstalled it
    and reinstalled the original app. I can't tell you the version because I can't get that far into the app to check.

    I will reinstall the beta version and report the problem there.
