Xbox (BETA) App - Login does nothing - FIX TUTORIAL

Copy and paste the entire thing as is and press enter. Its going to take about 2-5 minutes but it eventually stops. make sure your app is closed when you do this. It worked for me thanks OP!

copy all three lines as one. then paste into powershell (run as admin) then hit "enter" it'll run some scripts while power shell is open you can see it run through the script and de-bug it i guess

I keep getting errors saying that I need to close particular programs.

"The package could not be installed because resources it modifies are currently in use.
error 0x80073D02: Unable to install because the following apps need to be closed InputApp_1000.18362.1.0_neutral_neutral_cw5n1h2txyewy."

Just spent a good chunk of time with a fantastic Microsoft tech support agent to fix a very bad issue with the new beta app. THE LOGIN BUTTON DOES NOTHING! This was my problem and here is the fix that worked for me and the tech agent.

1. Open the windows start button and search "Powershell"

2. Right click "Powershell ISE X86" and run as admin

3. COPY AND PASTE these codes into powershell:

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers |Where-Object {$_.InstallLocation -like "*SystemApps*"} | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

Get-AppXPackage | % {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml" -verbose}

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

looks like they have a problem with the dev mode
