Xbox Beta app issues (black screen after sign in, and can't change install location) -...

Hi - I did not see an option in there to change game storage location, closest was apps... but I do not want any app I install saving to my gaming drive so I guess I will have to wait on MS to fix that bug in the xbox app so it allows selecting other drives.
As for the DNS settings, I changed my router to CloudFlare DNS 1.1.1.1 1.0.0.1 and am still having the same issue. Thanks for the input though!

So in order to successfully log into the Xbox (beta) app, and not get a black app screen after doing so, you need to go and log into the Xbox Console Companion app first. Doing so will giver you a Windows 10 notification saying you are signed into Xbox Live,
and from there you can go launch the Xbox (beta) app, sign in, and still be able to use the app.

That said, I have a "Gaming" admin account as well as my regular "User" admin account that I use for different purposes on my computer. On the Gaming account, the Xbox (beta) app storage location drop down is blank and will only store to wherever the default
APP storage is set to use in W10 settings (response below outlines how to change this). Where-as if I go into the same Xbox (beta) storage settings under my user computer account, it will display every drive in a drop-down and I can select them all - it will
still inform that I need to go change the W10 storage setting default location though.

Hello - I did just try to click on "feedback" within the beta app... it is the only menu item that does not do anything, or take me anywhere. Only way I could express feedback is buy rating the app within the Microsoft Store.

To fix the drive install issue, remove the app. Then go to START > SETTINGS > SYSTEM. In the System screen select Storage on the left hand side. From there, there should be an additional settings option. From here you can change the default location for
Windows games and apps.

Once this is done the beta app should let you install games on other drives.

Reinstall the App. If it's working might be an idea to also change your DNS settings.
