Xbox (Beta) app isn't installing

Discus and support Xbox (Beta) app isn't installing in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; Whenever I try to install the app from either the Microsoft store or from the installer it says something went wrong.     Whenever I try to install the app from either the Microsoft store or from the installer it says something went wrong. Does anyone know a way to fix this and install the app?

    Hi Pyrennix,

    Error code 0x80070005 means Access denied. If you're on standard user account, check if the issue persists with administrator account. Or you may try creating new user account and check.

    Also, run Windows Update troubleshooter from Settings app > Update & security > Troubleshoot. See if it works.

    If this doesn't help, try to reset Windows Update components and see if that helps: https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/deployment/update/windows-update-resources

    I dont have the xbox (beta) app anymore, but i have reset the microsoft store and xbox as well and it still doesnt work. Please help. Thanks

    Are you using the Xbox Beta app to install Gears 5? You need to use the Xbox Beta app, not the Windows Store app.
