Discus and support Xbox Beta App / Gaming Services won't install 0x800700b7 in XBoX on Windows to solve the problem; I have the problem that i bought gears 5 and wanted to preload it.     I have the problem that i bought gears 5 and wanted to preload it. I tried to install it and with it the application gaming services was downloaded too. Both couldnt be installed because of the error: 0x800700b7. After that i tried to install the xbox beta
    app, but here the same error too 0x800700b7.

    I tried to reset the windows store, tried to installt he app with the installer, i updatet on the newest windows version, checked that 3 times yes it is the newest version, after that i reinstalled windows 10 as whole again. Of course i tried the troubleshooting
    in the update folders in windows for the store and the updates and all of this didnt help i still get the error 0x800700b7.

    I am at the point absolutly frustrated because i didnt want to bring so much effort for something i have paid for to work, every other gaming store just works only the built in windows store not.

    So if someone would have an answer that helps and not includes a single thing i have allready done i would be really thankfull

    So after i didnt get an answer here and never could make it with my work times so that i can call the support i just bought the game on steam and try to avoid the microsoft store / xbox app in future. That was my fix to me.

    Thanks for coming to the forums. When you try and install the game, are you using the Beta app or trying to install directly from the store. When you say you pre-ordered the game, have you paid for the game completely, or getting it through game pass? If
    you are getting through game pass do you have ultimate game pass, or game pass for PC? Let us know these details so we can help you out better.

    I have paid for it. But the problem isnt the game i dont get that far. I try to install the xbox beta app and that didnt work in the first place, the error is from trying to install the xbox app
