Xbox (Beta) app does not uninstall games properly.

I used the "Uninstall Game" option within the Xbox beta app to remove the game. However, it did not remove the game from my PC. It no longer shows in the Xbox app, however, it still appears in my start menu under All Apps. The shortcut is not found in
either folder for the start menu shortcut locations, so there is no shortcut there to remove. Using the search function from taskbar still brings it up as well.

It doesn't appear in the metro app list of installed programs (Apps and Features) or in the control panel list of installed apps (Programs and Features) . Right-clicking on the icon from the start menu or the search result has an "Uninstall" option that
does nothing when clicked.

Hello thank you for reaching out to the xbox forums for support on your issue. O would recommend going in to the control panel and click on uninstall programmes and it should work.

I click on the widows icon and I see PROGRAMS and features.

xbox is not listed there by default so I "search for xbox" and nothing. Does not show my 29.29.15001.00000 version anywhere.

Then I go to the app store and download the xbox BETA and install (for the FIRST time EVER) 29.29.8002.00000 and it is still not loading messages properly. And still not showing up in the "PROGRAMS and features"

Now I have two broken apps and can't figure out how to uninstall the beta version. The store just offers "Launch" and "Share"

Nope still all the same, when i put the commands in i should note it does uninstall the apps and install them correctly but the xbox app just still does the same. The beta app as well does the same thing as the normal app

If none of the suggestions work, then try uninstalling the Xbox (beta) app, then uninstall Gears 5. After that reinstall Xbox (beta) app. That should hopefully fix the issue.
