Xbox beeping and turning off randomly

My xbox is doing the same and some said get a new power brick and it still doesnt work any time i asked the people to fix they said nothing wroung with it but it turns it self off like someone is pressing it but i have tryed all i could find.

Firstly what type of xbox 360 do you have? You're right sometimes the button can get stuck on the original xbox 360 consoles. If you have the slim, when it beeps does it ever open the disc tray by itself? Does it ever shut off randomly? If you think its
a sensor related issue and you still have warranty I suggest going here
support.xbox.com/.../repair to request a repair. Untill then when you give us further information might be able to assist a bit more

our Xbox 360 console this off alone? may be problems in the hardware button on / off or overheating then possibly look to see if something is plugging the inlet and outlet air dust on your xbox 360 or something and see if your console is somewhere well ventilated

My console is beeping and then restarting, my auto-off is disabled, I let my console cool down for about an hour, and the supply light is green. I purchased a hard drive and I forgot to format it, so now when I try to format it, my console restarts before
I can format it. HELP PLEASE.

no its not turning on or off it just beeps randomly every few minutes and beeps when its turned off it never turns on or off when its doing this beeping.

G'day Lurk! I think you're on the right track here with your power sensor. Just to be sure though, let's try something:

Unplug the power supply from your wall outlet/surge protector.
Unplug any accessories attached to the console: 3rd party headsets, capture card, USB flash drives, etc.
After 10 minutes, plug the power supply back in. Try plugging it directly into a wall outlet if it was previously hooked up to a surge protector.
Start the console, with the accessories still unplugged.
If the weird behavior has stopped, yay! Now plug in each accessory one at a time.
If the behavior returns after something else is plugged in, remove it again.

Let us know the results! If the console keeps acting up, then it may be best to consider
an official repair.
