Xbox beeping and ticking noise

The sound it’s makingLately my sons Xbox has been making a very loud beeping and ticking noise. The beeping is very loud and then the ticking sounds like an overheated engine. While I don’t think
it is overheated or has anything to do with the fan, but more likely the hard drive. This problem has been happening for awhile now, to the point where the Xbox isn’t useable. It’s just too loud, and the Xbox takes a long time to load anything. It is only
about 7 months old, it is a Xbox One S 1tb. Here is what it sounds like.

My console is no longer making noise!

You can get it repaired. But I know one time, the beeping noise the power button makes stopped for me once because I knocked my xbox over by accident. I unplugged the whole thing then plugged it back in and the beeping noise came back. Strange but it worked
and I never understood it.

Instant-On power mode and constant HDD activity

That really quiet ticking noise that you can't hear unless you stick your ear on the console? That's not the HDD. HDDs don't make a ticking noise like that.

My issue is that the fan ticks. The console is set up in a bedroom. When everything is turned off (or on standby), I hear this fast "tick, tick, tick" from the Xbox One PSU. I specifically built my PC to be as close to silent as I could make it, so I can
even hear the Xbox One PSU ticking over the sound of my PC when that's turned on. I'm not saying that the noise is "loud", because it's not. But any noise that can clearly and constantly be heard when a product is supposedly turned off is not good, especially
an annoying ticking sound.

I cant get it into Low Resolution mode??

Press and hold the Xbox button  and
the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You’ll hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second
beep. Don’t let go until the second beep occurs.

I do this....

you hear the eject button.......

then the 2nd noise is the power off noise?

(after the power off noise happens then you can hear the system boot noises through my PC speakers.... then it powers off)

And all the time working fine on my HD PC monitor

After I reset the console it doesn’t even make the Xbox beep noise anymore.
