Xbox Beam Issues

Been using the beam stream on xbox a couple times now, and noticed some issues with it:

Profile remains at broadcasting status. Causes friends and followers to receive a notification when ever I sign in. Hard restart fixes the issue:

Broadcast game through xbox. Then Hard Quit the game. User does not manually select stop broadcast and that is what I think causes the profile to remain at a broadcasting state. Even offline or starting and stopping a new broadcast will not fix the issue.
Must always hard restart. Feel like beam should not automatically close the broadcast but to just show a idle screen like when you move away from the game view. This should happen when you manually quit out of the game.

Soundboard does not Come Through XBOX:

This may be known already to some of the things that limit xbox users to be able to stream like others who have the equipment to do so. I set up a soundboard. People on xbox are able to view it and click it. But I am unable to respond if they are trying
to interact.

Page info not available on XBOX:

I spent sometime setting up my page details and sometimes refer viewers to use it as a source for game tags and other. But this is not visible through xbox beam app.

PartyChat with 2 Local Users:

Tried to do a split screen stream on xbox. Unfortunately we are unable to hear each other from 2 different headsets on 1 console on 2 different profiles in the same party chat.

Network Goes Down when downloading VODs:

Sometimes at work I tried to download some past streams and noticed that other people on the network will lose internet connection until the download is complete.

Overall I enjoyed all the xbox beam hype. But these limitations are unfortunate because xbox streamers still need a high end pc to broadcast xbox like a REAL streamer. And bringing in a highend PC opens the doors for platform shift to PC games. Which is
now in my plans seeing that is is inevitable that a need for a highend pc is crucial to being able to be a successful streamer.

Xbox Beam account Conflict

Hey there!

I'm sorry to hear about the issues with Beam streaming. Could you clarify what happens when you try to stream? Do you get a specific error message or code? Does your wife's account have the same issue with streaming from Beam?

Take a look at your account settings on your
Beam profile page and make sure that everything looks good there. If you continue to run into issues, you may want to reach out to
Beam Help for some direct assistance. They can take a closer look at your Beam account and see what's up.

CAN'T SING UP ON BEAM

Hello magonegro20,

If you already have Beam on your Xbox One you must be part of the pre bate team. Thanks for being part of our technology vanguard. But, from what I heard and seen there are still some issues with it running on the Xbox. However, when it does work, it works
very well. As far as syncing the Beam account, this is what worked for me; With the Edge browser I logged into
Xbox.com , then I opened up a new tap to Beam, I clicked on the Beam LOG IN and the Beam sign in dialog box popped up, I didn't type or fill in anything in, I just clicked on MICROSOFT, a Microsoft login dialog
box flashes on the screen and then I'm logged into Beam, and my Gamer tag was automatically carried over into the Beam chat session. Now, I still do not have Beam on my Xbox. So, I don't know if there is anything that has to happen at the backend so that you
can start streaming, like registering the Xbox itself to be a Beam host. But, let us know if this helps in any way.
