    XBOX Banned


    We previously sent a message regarding our old account: the gamertag is "MitchellDope". This account was hacked by someone who used our Capital One Visa credit card and we were advised to close the Microsoft Account. After we did that, Microsoft banned
    our console. We did not break any rules or violations. Could you please review our case and remove the ban on our console. Microsoft advised us to create a new account and contact you this way. Please let us know if you need the serial number and how
    to send that to you safely. Thank you very much for your help with this matter. Most Sincerely, Alexa

    It's not a permenant ban but those that have received a retail console early and connected it to the net have had it banned.

    Trying to add a banned account to an Xbox is not possible. Nor is trying to add an account to a banned Xbox console (ie hardware ban)

    There is a chance that the Xbox is a banned one.

    An Xbox Live device ban is permanent for Xbox consoles and devices. Even if the ownership changes, the device ban is still there and can’t be lifted. If you purchase an Xbox console or device that’s been banned, you won’t be able to connect to Xbox
