    him but he didn't do anything wrong

    If it's his problem, let him fix it. Besides, he could have done anything wrong. Verbal or text abuse to other players. Harrassment of other community members. Pretty much anything that would make Xbox Live a rather unpleasant experience for anyone.

    A mod will be removing his gamertag from your post shortly. Naming isn't allowed, regardless if you are sharing info or shaming someone.

    You do not get banned for no reason.

    An email would of been sent to the address linked to the account or you can post in the ban/suspension forum here

    Trying to add a banned account to an Xbox is not possible. Nor is trying to add an account to a banned Xbox console (ie hardware ban)

    There is a chance that the Xbox is a banned one.
