Xbox backwards compatibility wont connect me online

For a good long while now, I can not connect my xbox profile to the internet through the backwards compatibility. I have done what the microsoft rep has said to do in one of these situations where i delete my 360 profile through the emulation, and try to redownload it. But it does not let me redownload it, so i dont have any way to get my profile back, because it won't connect to the internet.

This has been like this for several years and microsoft doesn't give me anyway of contacting them easily. Even the support page on this website has no email or number to contact. Only recommended articles that dont even talk about my issue.
