Xbox Backwards Compatibility Vote

I think Xbox needs to remove games for the voting system that already have HD remasters/remakes because the likelyhood that a game company that has gone through the effort to make a remake/remaster are not going to really want compition from there last gen
version. So if Xbox were to remove games like Skyrim, Arkham City/Asylum and GTA 5 then it would move farther down the ranks games up the list and mabe more people would see and vote for them and they could gett added to the backwards compatibility list finally.

I just wanted to put a new game up on the list for backwardscompatability and the website isnt letting me. I would like to see pro street on the list and I'm not sure if they are all up there but I'd like to see every call of duty up there Thank Yo

those games are only 10k vote for backward compatibility but you can add your vote and hopefully they will add those games. here's the link for all the games on that list for vote, just search for your game and vote.

I don't think there is any need to do that. If you look at the backward compatibility list, you will find games on there which have had the remastered treatment. Bioshock, Bioshock 2, Bioshock Infinite, Halo games (As Master Chief Collection), Assassins
Creed 2, Brotherhood, Revelations (As Ezio Collection), Assassins Creed Rogue (Coming next month) & Burnout Paradise (Coming next month) to name a few. I think they're many gamers out there which would like to play both the Xbox 360 version & the remastered
versions of the game. I'm sure sometime in the future, you will probably see the Xbox 360 versions of some of the other remastered games will also make it to the backward compatible catalogue too.

 

There are also people who don't want to pay again for the same game even if it is remastered.

Also, the list is more of just a suggestion anyway. It's to kind of gauge the games people want. It's still up to the publishers to allow them to be backwards compatible. It's not a guaranteed way to make a game compatible.

 

TransFormers Revenge of the Fallen needs to be backwords compatiable best Transformers game there iss please make this happen remastered or update it with all the DLC pack my TF 2 fans where u at help me make this happen!!!

 

Completely agree on this. If there was a volunteer run aspect, the suggestion box can be cleaned up quickly (threads for same games being merged together) but I don't think MS will bite to do such a thing. Here's hoping there will be a clean up though!

Extra choice is usually always good. If both exist I don't see any harm in that. Folks who already own then on 360 can play them on the X1 or buy the remaster.

 

Please make Sonic Unleashed backwards compatible

 

What about the DOA series? Not a single installment (except for DOA 5: Last Round) is backwards compatible.

 

Well, that too, but I bought Sonic Unleashed before realising that it’s not backwards compatible. I don’t own any DOA games.

 

they should add these two game to the backwards compatibility list
