Xbox backwards compatibility issue

I've had my own account as my home xbox for a while now and I could play all my backwards compatible games on Xbox live with accounts that didn't have gold. No problem there. The problem is that my friend and I recently made eachothers accounts our home
xboxs and now I cant play backwards compatible games on multiplayer with accounts that don't have gold. How is it that all of a sudden I cant play online even though both xbox home accounts have xbox gold and both are gold sharing. It's just on backwards compatible
games btw

Because of backward compatibility you will be able to join parties, join games but only the xbox 360 game you have started up.

Hey there, Styled!

I'm sorry to see any issues with Home Gold! One of the things I would try is having your friend sign in to the Xbox 360 emulator on your console. This might be blocking the Gold from going to those games, and we've seen issues with multiplayer before users
add more profiles to that emulator.

Please note that if this friend is not local, and you are using their account with them giving you their log in information, this is against the
Terms of Use and could result in an Enforcement action against your accounts. If this is the case, we wouldn't be able to assist further outside of what we've suggested. We appreciate

Yes it is still backwards compatible. You can the list of backwards compatible games here.

I'm not sure why it wouldn't be working. Have you had any issues with other backwards compatible games before?

Sorry to hear you're having issues. Unfortunately, the Xbox 360 Fall of Cybertron disc is not backwards compatible on the Xbox One.

As long as those games are backward compatible this will not be an issue. https://www.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/backward-compatibility And they even enhanced the graphics on fallout 3 for the Xbox one X.
