Xbox Automatic Updates

Discus and support Xbox Automatic Updates in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; I wonder if anyone knows of a way to have Xbox automatic updates enabled but set it to only download updates at a certain time.     Xbox Automatic Updates


    I wonder if anyone knows of a way to have Xbox automatic updates enabled but set it to only download updates at a certain time. There are occasions when I'm working from home and then Xbox starts downloading an update and eats up all my bandwidth and I start having connection problems.

    I could turn off automatic updates but then I don't want to turn on the Xbox one evening to play a game and then have to wait for it to download an update.

    Hi TheJodmyster,

    I have the auto update enabled on my consoles for system updates and keeping games & apps up to date. I never seen the system updates take place during the day, they usually happen when the console is "off" or very late at night. I am not sure if there is a way to set a time window for updates.
