    Hi,

    i have been trying to make my xbox update in the background automatically and it has not worked yet ,i have set it to instant on ,keep my games and apps up to date, and unchecked turn storage off if xbox is off nothing seems to work , i have to go on
    my xbox and manually click the update button then it can download when the xbox is off

    edit :i have “turn off after one hour checked” on powe and startup settings is that whats affecting it?

    Hi TheJodmyster,

    I have the auto update enabled on my consoles for system updates and keeping games & apps up to date. I never seen the system updates take place during the day, they usually happen when the console is "off" or very late at night. I am not sure if there is a way to set a time window for updates. You can request for this to be added by reaching out to the Xbox Insider team https://www.reddit.com/r/xboxinsiders/wiki/xboxrequests
