    So I've had an issue for a while now with Xbox's auto update system, and it really needs to be fixed. Whenever auto update games and apps is on, or maybe more specifically whenever the console is downloading, the entire console just stops. It happened constantly on my One X, and I just got a series x yesterday and its already an issue.

    I'm in the process of transferring my games from my 5TB external harddrive to a 12 TB, and I left the console on for ~8 hours just for it to stop at 290 more installations, spam every single one "Installation Stopped" and full on break down. Queue wouldn't load, My Games and Apps wouldn't load, I couldn't start a game, load settings, anything. On both consoles, the only fix is to hard reset the xbox. Doing this causes the controller to lose sync, for some reason loses connection to the 5 TB, which needs to be completely disconnected, then hard reset the console again so it detects the hard drive... lmao why.

    Does anyone else have this issue? I've noticed it on friends' consoles too and every time I turn off Auto Update, its usually fine until you try to update something or download a game off the marketplace

    the new xbox one update fixed the issue, now plays disc on auto when inserted, mods can close the thread..

    I think I read somewhere that there was an issue with ethernet connections and auto-updates.

    I'm experiencing the same "non-auto-updating" thing, and I agree, it's kind of annoying !

    I once read (on a neogaf forum) that a disc based game will only install the update when you insert the disc.

    I honestly don't know if this is the case.

    Can any disc users confirm this?

    Can anyone confirm whether or not you are still experiencing this issue? I was surprised yesterday when I logged into my console and all of the apps which were listed as awaiting update are now updated!
