    My 1 month subscription just ran out today. I've had a code hanging on my wall ready to use, untouched since Christmas. When I went to redeem the 12 month code, it didn't work, even after SHOWING me it was a 12 month code! I went and redeemed it on my computer.
    Again, it SHOWED me it was a 12 month! After 30 minutes, I have yet to see any change to my multiplayer status. My question here is, where is my Xbox live, and why was my $60 code made worthless?

    So I just got an Xbox one and signed up directly through the website for live via my credit card. I haven't been billed for it yet as the first month is free. I've decided I wanted to remove my credit card and use a 12 month gold live card to sign up for
    gold.

    If I cancel my gold sub and add this 12 month sub card, will that 12 month sub start at the end of the 30 days free, or right away?

    Also I received a 14 day free trial of live with my console. If I add that and the 12 month sub card, will I effectively get 12 1/2 months of service before I had to resub?

    GOLD Member, Keep getting asked to "Join Xbox Live Gold"

    similar issue recently and just yesterday i got an email saying my Xbox live gold had been cancelled even though its just 2 months into a 12 month sub!

    No, I entered it, accepted it, then nothing happened. So I entered it again, and rejected the code. I checked not too long ago, my Xbox Live Gold still hasn't been activated.

    then if you let you sub run out then you could have applied the 12 month gold card and got the full 12 months of xbox live gold, adding a gold card to a current active GPU sub will convert, done.

    It will start at the end of the 30 days.

    No. Trial cards are not the same Gold membership. It only has some of the benefits of gold, not all of them. Those won't stack.

    There is the option to "stack" subscription cards where you're able to have up to 3 years.

    Also, don't forget to get the free game each month. Even if you're no longer a gold account. you can still keep the games (on the Xbox One, not on the 360, I don't know why this is).
