XBOX at E3 2015.

Didn't saw anything new or innovative since the coming of 3D graphics,but there are still a bunch of great games (old and new).Witcher 3 is "just another RPG" but it's dam good,same can be said on future releases....Forza 6 "just another racing game" but
i can't wait to play it.

 

And BioWare did stun me with the ending of DA:I. I want answers and I want more story based DLC. I personally (and have read quite a bit) don't care about the co-op/mp mode for Inquisition. I want story DLC. EA
needs to knock it off with everything needing to have Co op/MP. Dragon Age Origins didn't need it, neither did Dragon Age 2. And Inquisition doesn't need it. Inquisition needs big story oriented DLC like Origins had. And 2 had a couple.

OMG, I could not possibly agree more! The game could've been so much more if they'd dropped the co op/MP idea and focused on what makes these kind of games great. The most I've
done with the MP mode in DAI is look at the menu. It is literally worthless to me.

 

Same here Blue, I also just look at the menu, then go into the Single Player. I will not give their MP/Co-op a "hit" by even going into the menu.

I read a fascinating article a few years back in Game Informer regarding EA's head honcho that approves the game. He looks over the contents and if it does not have some sort of Co op/MP he hands it right back and tells them developers to add it. I was
stunned by this. Then we got Mass Effect 3's (in my opinion) garbage Co-Op. Which caused a slew of problems and oversights within the campaign. (which I will gladly go over if you are interested).

They are (in my opinion) trying to waste our time and distract us from wanting more Single Player content. Not every game needs Co op/MP.

Personally, I think that the reason that EA is putting multiplayer modes in games that don't need them (Dead Space 3 for example) is to appeal more the the Call Of Duty crowds.

I agree with you guys, stop with the multiplayer stuff and focus on the single player experience.

Personally @ Doc, I boycotted EA shortly after they started requiring activation codes that stopped people who rented their games from even trying them online.

I'm a try it before you buy it kind of person. I use GF. I rented an EA racing game (can't remember which) and went to play it... and it asked for the online activation code. I put that game straight back into its sleeve and sent it back. Took all EA games
out of my que. The only reason I finished off the Mass Effect series is because I was already invested in it and I loved the story. I was there through the whole ME3 debacle BTW. No need to get into that... we'd probably agree on a lot more than we'd disagree
on I'd guess.

I haven't purchased another game from them until Titanfall. In fact, I had already written that game off as soon as I heard EA was involved with it. A friend asked me if I was getting it and I told him no, explaining the activation codes were the reason...
and he said "They aren't doing that anymore." So I bought a copy just to make a point.

I was actually surprised when I heard about their game vault. Don't know much about it, but most people seem to feel it has good value so I won't knock it. Still, for me, it's 1 positive in a crowd of negatives. In a way I'm surprised to hear about the guy
rejecting a game just because it doesn't have co op/MP, but in another way it doesn't. That's why I stay firmly planted on the fence with anything that has their name on it, until I know more about it.

 

I can't wait to see what's going to be announced for E3, kind of weird they always go first every year though.

 

I hear you there Blue. And so far we have agreed in a lot so I believe your assessment is right. There is a reason why EA was there 2X defending champion of worst company in America. And they just missed out on a 3peat.

I do not care for EA, it is to bad that they have BioWare under their belt. I absolutely love Dragon Age, and I thoroughly enjoyed Mass Effect.

Not sure how much of this is true, but I'm looking forward to see what Titanfall up to. Still hoping for Beyond Good and Evil 2 announcement.

 

I believe the jump from Titanfall to Titanfall will be like the jump from Call of Duty 4 to Modern Warfare 2

 

I believe the jump from TF to TF2 will be without myself... unless they actually add a SP campaign mode.

 

A friend told me Titanfall 1 was sorta like a giant beta test to see if they could actually pull the game off and that Titanfall 2 would likely have a lot more content in it, including a singleplayer.

Shrug...

 

Well Tart, Titanfall was made by a hand full of people. Their (Respawn Entertainment) original office was the size of a broom closet. While they had a decent sized budget, the studio was small. Basically an indie sized team made a AAA title. Now that
Respawn has now grown, we can expect larger changes due to community feedback.

 

Loved Titanfall, for a while...

The second one definitely needs more content.

 

If the jump from Titanfall 1 to is described as the jump from COD4 to MW2...I'll hate it at first, but I'll love it eventually.

This is what happened to me with the two Modern Warfares. Especially MW2 - I had a love-hate relationship with it, but came to embrace her finer points in the end. Not like I'll be able to do anything about the community full of jerks, eh?

 

I am hoping Fallout 4 is announced and hopefully some more information on currently planned to released games. Some Xbox One news and windows 10 news would be nice also.
