Xbox asking me to reset and reinstall my games yet again!

I also am having the same concern, bought game on Xbox One, have played for a few days, but now will not let me play, asks me to buy the game, have tried full reset of xbox and internet. Uninstalled game, but now is not available to reinstall without buying again.

I've changed my account type to local and made it so that apps have to ask me to use the account. Now the sign in button on Xbox to select any account isn't working. If I put it back as a Microsoft account and that apps can sign me in then it will only sign me in as my alt gaming account again.

I have removed the Gaming Services and reinstalled, reset xbox app and same outcome.

I looked over this thread, seems like resetting or better yet Reinstalling is the best chance to have the Game running properly again.

What's bumming me is that I did a Reinstall earlier this year, and seeing now that I have to doing it all again

Ummmm..... Thanks. Been out of the game for months since the game didn't launch. (3 months to be exact)

Did you try a factory reset?

NasifK, not sure if you were asking me or OP, but I haven't tried a factor reset yet. Just the hard reset I guess? Holding the power button on the console for 8-10 seconds. I'd lose all my installed games correct? I'd have to reinstall all the games,
but I wouldn't lose my game saves?

Though I do have COD installed to an external hard drive.
