Xbox applying update, then crashing on "something went wrong" screen

So, yesterday my Xbox required a mandatory update. I chose to update the Xbox, then decided I would shut it off after dinner. I forgot to shut it off, and forgot about the whole thing. I was going to play the new Minecraft Dungeons update, and then when I turned on my Xbox, I saw it was applying update, I left it there, and it didn't do anything for 30 minutes. Eventually, it showed the "Something Went Wrong" screen. I turned on my controller, and then the Xbox button on the console started flashing like crazy and crashed. I turned the console back on, and the same happened. I have an Xbox Series X, and I am in the Xbox Insider Alpha Skip-Ahead Preview Ring. Does anyone know a fix?

So, that might be some issue with this build of the system.

Try to do this:

1. First, hold the power button until your console completely shuts down.

2. Now, hold the sync button (button to sync the controller with the console on the console) and press the power button.

3. Hold the sync button until you enter on the troubleshooting mode like the attached pic.

4. Done that, choose the option restore this xbox, in there you're given two options: Keep games and apps or remove all. Try first to keep your games and apps.

WARNING: Be aware that, even tho you keep your apps and data, your accounts will be removed, first, be sure of all the accounts and its passwords before you go forward with this procedure.

Well it was about to prepare update screen and in a split second went back to “Something went wrong” and I press continue. It show restart, reset, turn off and xbox offline update option menu screen. I press “xbox offline update”(usb is connect to Xbox
one) start update but went back something went wrong

I tried downloading the update a few times but it just soft bricks the console on ‘applying update’ then ‘something went wrong’

There should be an error code showing from there, can I have it, please? This will determine what other steps we need to perform.

UPDATE: just went to the something went wrong screen with the error code E102 00000C12 8007045D
