    Xbox application crashing on startup


    My xbox app on Windows 10 has been crashing on startup for a few days with none of the fixes im seeing online helping. So far I have tried: Uninstalling, restarting, resetting the application in settings, updating my windows and xbox application itself, running DSIM and sfc /scannow. All to no avail. My reliability report log is:

    My windows received an update earlier this morning however the application was faulty before, im unaware if an update happened prior to my issues.

    Just attempted the fixes you posted, but alas the same issue, opens for a brief second and shuts down - no error code or log in screen shown. This occurs regardless of whether I install the application from store directly or through the other links.

    I know that this can be a bit odd, but please try and double check the next before:

    Press Windows button and type Services

    On Services App from the list of results, press right-click and run it as administrator

    Scroll to the bottom and find the following services:

    IP Helper

    Xbox Live Auth Manager

    Xbox Live Game Save

    Xbox Live Networking Service

    Gaming Services

    And do this with each of the services listed above:

    Right-click over the service and select Properties.

    Find the Startup type section and make sure it’s set to Automatic (if not, change it to automatic)

    If the service isn’t started, click Start to start the services

    Restart your PC and give it a new try or proceed with the above
