    Xbox appears it is on but isn't


    Hey the last couple of weeks my xbox one has been acting quite weird and I'm not sure why. Every now and then I go to turn on the xbox and the light comes on, but nothing comes on the screen and the controllers will not connect.
    It is not an issue with the HDMI cord because I have tried multiple cords. When I try to the xbox off to restart it, it makes the sound as if it is turning off but the light stays on. The only way to turn the xbox off completely is to do a hard restart or
    unplug it. Occasionally, If I unplug it and leave it for about 15 minutes, it works then but that technique is very inconsistent. This occurrence has become more and more often, and the last couple days it has not functioned at all. Can anyone tell me what
    is wrong or how to fix it, Thanks.

    XBOX is connected but acting like it isn't

    Try a hard reset of the xbox hold the home button for 8 seconds till it completely shuts off and unplug the xbox for 5 minutes then forget your network and try reconnecting

    XBOX is connected but acting like it isn't

    I was watching Hulu when all of the sudden it stopped working. I quit the app and restarted, it loaded up, then wouldn't play anything. Tried Netflix, same thing, loads the app but won't play. Detailed network statistics: all is well except I have 100% packet
    loss. 100mbps down 50mbps up. All other wireless devices working fine in the house. Logged into router, needed firmware update (set to automatic, not sure why it didn't). Updated, rebooted, same thing. Reserved IP is fine. Xbox is connected but it's not bringing
    up any of my tiles on the home page. Apps load but won't play content. Homepage says to connect to Xbox Live. Also performed hard reset, and sign in/out of profile. Disconnected and reconnected wireless. No joy. Ideas?

    Hello Matthew, when you say "isn't appearing in library" is referring to your game library that should appear on the console, or you tried to connect console via streaming on PC and it does not appear.

    You say you set up the console via App, which App would be and most importantly, have your Microsoft account added and logged into the console?

    If you can give more details, I'll be waiting for your reply.
