Xbox app

hi my name is Aaron and i am trying to sign in to my account for Xbox app and it will not let me it said either sign in or set up counsel and it did not let me sign in and it said something went wrong with letters and numbers
and i read about it and you guys and gals said a lot that did not help please get back as soon a possible and i really want to use the Xbox app so please do whatever it takes to help i can't show a pic because i don't know how but ya please help
