    Steps to reproduce:

    1. Have two Xbox One consoles with the same gamertag enabled for quick sign-in (NOT automatic sign-in).

    2. Have those two Xbox One consoles set for automatic connection in the Xbox App on a Windows 10 PC.

    3. Have one console signed in with the gamertag to Xbox Live.

    4. Open the Xbox App on PC.

    Expected behavior:

    The Xbox App connects to the Xbox One console that is currently signed in and actively using the gamertag, ignoring the other console that is powered on and online, but not signed in.

    Actual behavior:

    The Xbox App connects to the idle Xbox One console that is not signed in, which automatically signs that console in with the gamertag, which kicks off the Xbox One that is currently signed in and in use.

    Summary:

    The Windows 10 Xbox App should NEVER automatically sign in a gamertag on a console that it connects to, ESPECIALLY if that gamertag is already signed in on a DIFFERENT console. The Windows 10 Xbox App should be able to connect to and control consoles WITHOUT
    the need to sign in to any gamertag on the consoles (if those permissions are enabled on the console).

    Please keep me updated on the progress of fixing this bug. Thank you.

    Will this work ?

    If the PS3 is going surely you can use that HDMI cable and connect the Xbox one to it.

    You can sign into both at the same time. I will be connecting my Xbox to my Xbox one.

    Cant do anything with Skype

    Having the same issue. I am now convinced the Skype app needs a patch written as there is a bug. It worked for me on day one, now it tells me I am signed out of the Xbox account (which I am not) and has a Sign In button, which is inaccessible.

    Xbox support: please relay this bug to the developers who work on Skype.

    Microsoft Sign In Issues!

    I was experiencing Technical glitches and bugs on my windows 10 PC trying to sign into to xbox app for about 3 days, no usual fixes from the xbox microsoft forums helped me at all. Anytime i would try to click sign in on the xbox app or after opening a game it wouldn't do anything. Just bug out a little. I first opened services and made sure all the xbox related services were started. You can open your services by searching "services" in the Search Bar In the lower left hand corner of your taskbar. Scrall all the way down and then right click each xbox related service and then select start. After that i opened the microsoft store and downloaded another xbox related app. To be specific Xbox Accessories. After it finished installing it prompted me to sign into my microsoft or xbox live account. After signing in with microsoft from this App. It automatically fixed all the bugs, and actually signed me into the xbox app as well. Hope this helps.

    Hi Lars, What version of the app are you using? When your trying to connect what scenario is happening? Is the App failing to sign in? Or is the App failing to connect with your Xbox One? '

    Hi Dalton,

    Thanks for your update. Have you checked your Xbox App connectivity settings on your Xbox One? These settings affect usability of remote apps for Mobile and Windows 10 Devices. To access them, visit
    Settings>Preferences>Xbox app connectivity on your Xbox One. There you would want to enable connectivity for devices that are signed into a profile on your console or any device with the Xbox app.
