    Xbox App won't load subscriptions and doesn't recognize that I have Game Pass Ultimate.


    I was going onto the Xbox App on Windows to download games with my Game Pass Ultimate subscription I paid $1 for 3 months. It wouldn't let me download the games because it thought I don't have Game Pass when in reality I did have it but it seems like an
    issue on the app itself. I also can't claim any of the perks through the app and attempted to claim it outside the app but I was forced to use the app to claim it, which in this case I can't. I was fortunely able to download games with Game Pass through the
    Microsoft Store so it wasn't a big deal but I still wanted to claim some of the perks offered with Game Pass Ultimate but it doesn't recognize my subscription so I can't claim it.

    Hopefully, Microsoft can release an update to the app to patch this bug and allow us to claim our perks you offered us. I would greatly appreciate the update to the app for me to claim my 3 Free Months of Discord Nitro and maybe trying out Disney+ for the
    first time.

    Just a tip for everyone who is experiencing this issue currently, you can download games with Game Pass on the Microsoft Store. You don't need the Xbox App to download your games with Game Pass. I was able to download mine through the Microsoft Store and
    it works!

    I have same problem, xbox app on pc won't recognize i have game pass ultimate. Mobile app dose.even on web it reflects, not chaked on consol. Microsoft store late me download, install & play game pass games.

    It seems there is issue whith pc app. All usual measures does not help me.

    I am having the exact same issue! Just renewed and upgraded to XBox Game Pass Ultimate, the phone app works fine, hell I can even use Cloud play. But on my PC, the XBox App doe not recognize my Game Pass subscription. I hope we will be reimbursed for the
    lost time once the issue is fixed.

    Game Pass Ultimate on console not working on PC

    Game Pass Ultimate is only a bundled subscription of Gold, Game Pass for console, and Game Pass for PC. It doesn't change what games are available on each platform. Game Pass for PC doesn't have the same amount of games as Game Pass for console, so you won't see all of the same games on the PC.

    Yet, the official press release says that doesn't matter.

    "Whether you claimed the previous Disney+ Perk or not, Ultimate members who do not currently have an active Disney+ subscription will be eligible to claim the 30-day subscription trial through the Perks Gallery on their Xbox console, on the Xbox app for Windows PC, or through the Xbox Game Pass mobile app on iOS and Android."
