We understand that you are trying to install Xbox App and is unable to because you are getting an error. Let us check on this together and sort this out. Rest assured, we will do anything in our capability to assist you with your concern.

As per your description you are unable to install the Xbox App. This problem normally occurs due to a corrupted or missing system files. This issue can normally be fix by performing scans and reinstall the app.

However, in your isolated case, we’d like to know more about it in details so that we can provide a more accurate resolution for you. To start, please provide us information/answer on the following questions:

• Device specs, make and model?
  
• Current version and edition of Windows Installed? (Search for WINVER in Windows search to see this)
  
• Was this working before?
  
• Is this the only app you cannot uninstall?
  

Here are some methods we can perform to try and fix the issue.



Method 1: Run the SFC /SCANNOW command

• Open Command Prompt(Admin)
  
• Type the command below.
  
  [table][tr]

  sfc /scannow

  [/tr][/table]
  
• Wait for the scan to complete.
  
• If there's no errors, you can close the console now.
  
• If it doesn't help, do a Component Store repair with this command:
  
  [table][tr]

  dism /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth

  [/tr][/table]
  
• Restart the computer and run scan again.
  
  [table][tr]

  sfc /scannow

  [/tr][/table]
  

Method 2: Reset Store Cache

• Open RUN
  
• Type the command below
  
  [table][tr]

  wsreset.exe

  [/tr][/table]
  
• Reboot PC then test if you can download the app
  

Method 3: Reregister Xbox App

• Open PowerShell (admin)
  
• Run the command below
  

[table][tr]

Get-AppXPackage -AllUsers | Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$($_.InstallLocation)\AppXManifest.xml"}

None of these fixed the issue. Xbox app still infinitely loading and the Microsoft Store install button can be pressed, but it won't install or do anything.

Yeah I when I go to a game in the Xbox app it takes me to the first image I put and when I try to directly download a game from the windows store, the install button does nothing and stays as it is

Yeah the store is hit or miss...but mostly working. Says j own the product and have an install button that does nothing when i click it...i tried pushing from the mobile app as well...nothing
