Xbox app won't detect/use SSD for install

I want to install a game onto my SSD however when I go to install the game (or any game) it does not give me it as an option:

It does however show up as an option when I look at the settings:

If I go to move the file using the settings>apps method I get this error code:

Any suggestions would be greatly appricated!

Thanks for the advice - my drive was not NTFS so I formatted and it resolved the issue. Game has been moved successfully!

Is this a disk with an files from an old windows installation?

Have you checked if the disk has a NTFS format?

If the disk is currently empty you could try giving a fast format to the disk

I do not have a spare enclosure no.

I do not have a spare xbox either.

No spare cable either but highly doubt that's the issue.

Network connectivity

Wifi works fine until SSD is in, wired won't even be detected.

SSD is formatted properly. Game is copyed on SSD but either won't load because no connectivity or huge lag spikes make it unplayable.

What kind of drives are you using ? (HDD, SSD, NVME drive ?)

I assume they work properly with windows, but aren't detected by the xbox app.

Have you already tried to uninstall the xbox app and reinstall a fresh one ?
