Xbox app won't connect

So I've never had a problem with connecting the Xbox app on my pc to my Xbox. Until about 2 weeks ago. Now every time I try it says make sure the console is still connected to the same network. It also will not allow me to connect to my roommates Xbox
either. He is able to connect to either one without any issues though. I've looked at all my settings in can think of about app connectivity and such and have them all open to allow any connections yet still not able to connect. Tried hard resets as well.
Not sure what else to try. If anyone has any suggestions or has heard of this issue it would be much appreciated.

Hi Aztec,

Thanks for coming to the forums with your issue. Try disconnecting the internet completely on the console. If you are connected wireless, go to network settings then disconnect wireless. Wait about 2 minutes then reconnect to the wireless network.

Sorry to hear but: try to reset your Network Router. I often got this Problem too and in my case often this is the solution or if it WiFi go hardwired (use a cable).

One quick thing to add:

If I try connecting to Xbox Live while in the Xbox Video App it just says "Your connection to Xbox Live was lost…" so for whatever reason it just won't let me connect to Live when I'm in that app.

I have the same problem. Games won't load on Xbox App (Error code: 0x89235106). Microsoft Store won't load (Error Code: 0x80131500). Epic Store App is not connecting. I've tried resetting, repairing, and reinstalling. Nothing worked. I'm very much connected to the internet. Those three apps are the ones seeming having problems.

So i deleted my recent Windows updates and it still won't connect. I'm guessing its the XBOX APP update that won't connect to my Xbox IP address. I can't find a a way to roll back the XBOX app update to see if thats the issue.

Please Help! I've been giving the XBOX app 5 star rating for a full month and this change happens and my stream down't work anymore is downright disappointing.
