Xbox app windows10, not working?

What is up with the Xbox app on windows 10?

Whenever I try to log in, I get this message -

I've looked on google and the error code doesn't seem to have a fix?

I've read some stuff about a "May Update" but apparently I'm not compatible for it. I have had this issue for at least 3 weeks now, and I can't talk to my friends who are on xbox. #

Anyone know how to fix this?

I can totally see how getting an error like this could be concerning.

You stated in your post that you were not compatible with the update?

Are you using Windows version 1903?

If you're on an older version of windows, it would make sense that you are having problems connecting with people who have updated, so let us know a little more about what kind of set up you have up when you get the chance so that we could help possibly
get to the bottom of this.

the may update is for the latest version of windows 10, if you goto : https://www.microsoft.com/en-gb/software-download/windows10

on there click update now and see what that says, it you arent compatible then it should tell you why, if its a piece of hardware or some other reason.

If that goes through then upgrade your windows 10 version and try the xbox app again after

Have you tried any of these steps to see if anything here helps with your networking issues. If not try some of the settings and see if you can connect to the app.

The Xbox services are up and running.

However, it seems I have some issues with NAT type, and is the latency normal?

Hi Skorz12,

sorry to hear but I know this error only from the store app and i don't think that most of the solutions to the XBOX app can apply.

So I think that it is a network error. (the network is too slow to send the response and so a timeout is achieved)

If you are only connected wirelessly to the Internet, please test if the error still appears with an RJ45 cable.

Next, you should check (Settings - XBOX - XBOX Network) whether all XBOX Live services are running as they are needed.

And please also check the NAT type, which should be open.

Please let us know how the settings are with you.
